The local church is called to do more than gather on Sundays.
Golden City Church exists to bring the culture of heaven to Denver and beyond by building a permanent home in North Denver, planting churches across the Front Range, and carrying the Gospel to the nations, with a long-term vision for Prague.

We are called beyond our own walls. We will plant new local expressions of Golden City across the Denver metro and Front Range, and invest in other planters reaching cities we could never reach alone.

Local expressions of Golden City
A local expression is Golden City Church in a new community: the same vision, values and culture of heaven, led by local leaders and shaped for the neighborhood it serves. Each one is a church in its own right, and each is meant to plant again.
- Pray and discernLeaders and the church pray over communities across the metro and Front Range where God is opening a door.
- Raise a leaderWe identify and develop a pastor from within our own church family.
- Gather a launch teamPeople who live in that community commit to pray, serve and invite their neighbors.
- Launch and serveSunday gatherings begin, and the new expression serves its city from day one.
- MultiplyEach healthy expression raises leaders to plant the next one.
Partnering with planters
Strengthening the wider Church
Through the Front Range multiplication network and ARC, we invest in church planters, prioritize hard-to-reach and underserved cities, and equip leaders who are starting new churches.
The ends of the earth: the nations
Prague
The Great Commission reaches beyond our city and our country. Prague is our long-term vision for international church planting: investing in one city to build a lasting Gospel presence, not a short-term visit.
Prague is known as the Golden City of Europe. We pray that one golden city will help bring the culture of heaven to another.
Why Prague
- 1.4Mpeople live in Prague, and the city is growing through people moving in from abroad.
- <1%of Czechs are evangelical Christians, about 1 person in 135.
- 47.8%of Czechs said they have no religion in the 2021 census. Another 30% didn't answer.
- 2.2Mvisitors came to Prague in just three months of 2025, and 82% were from other countries.
